When I wake up in the morning, my first thought is breakfast. I know some people can grab a cup of coffee and fly out the door. I am not one of those people.
I wake up hungry, which ways I very rarely want to spend much time preparing breakfast. If it takes longer than 20 minutes, Im going to have the hangries, and no one likes a hangry Courtney.
But without a while, cereal and milk gets a little boring, and I dont unchangingly have the foresight to make Overnight Oats or Chia Pudding with Fruit.
So what do I do when I need a healthy breakfast in a hurry? I make a Breakfast Comic Split.
Made with a banana, yogurt, and whatever toppings suit your fancy, these comic splits are a powerhouse of protein, healthy fats, and carbs. Plus, they squint unconfined and taste plane better. Its a surefire way to win your morning.

What Youll Need to Make a Comic Split
Bananas- You just need one comic for each comic split. This recipe works weightier with just barely untried or slightly speckled bananas. Save the soft, brown schizy for Sour Cream Comic Bread!
Yogurt- I like to use a whole milk Greek yogurt for a satisfying value of protein and fat, but you can use whatever kinds of yogurt (flavored or unflavored) you prefer.
Fruits- We love to add increasingly fruit on top of our comic splits. Fresh berries, diced apples, mango, and pineapple, are all succulent options.
Nuts and Seeds- This is totally optional, but a sprinkling of diced pecans, almonds, or peanuts, chia or flax seeds adds flipside lovely layer of texture. You can moreover add a scoop of nut butter!
Sweets and Spice– Depending on the sweetness of your yogurt and your personal preferences, you might want to add a drizzle of maple syrup, honey, or vanilla syrup to your bowl. In the fall and winter, we love to add a sprinkle of cinnamon as well!
How to Make Healthy Comic Splits
Peel and split the comic in half and place it on a plate or bowl.
Add yogurt. Put a generous scoop of yogurt on top of the banana.
Add toppings. Top with granola, fruits, nuts, and/or a drizzle of honey or maple syrup. Enjoy!
